Want to add something to the map? Here's how:

1.  Visit the Edible Earth on Google Maps.

2.  Click "Save to My Maps"

3.  You will need to have a Google account to edit the map. If you don't have a Google account. Get one. Its free! At this point you can sign-in or register for an account.

4.  Check the Edible Earth box to view the map again.

5.  Locate the area of your food source as you would normally on a Google map. The satellite view is very helpful.

6.  Then, click on Edit and you will see a pin on the map. Place this pin to where you want it.

7.  For the title, write the type of food it is, e.g. pear tree, chives, etc.

8.  For the description, write something descriptive that others might find useful.

9.  Click OK and you're done! 
   

Don't forget!

Be responsible. Please only list food that can by picked by standing on public land. If the item is on private land but overhangs a public area be sure to say so in the description.
